A new dlc boss featuring Melania's sister: Malka.i need that 3v3 action that dark souls 3 had in dedicated invasion areas! probably not gonna happen, but i'd love it if covenants get retroactively applied to existing areas too. Oh yeah, covenants and higher player counts for multiplayer would be great too in injecting more life into the pvp experience. So yeah, i'm open to literally anything from soft does with elden ring's dlc except shitty platforming puzzles. Whatever tension that may be built the first couple of times you go through it inevitably gives way to frustration, and finishing doesn't result in satisfaction but only relief. also, you have to keep yourself from getting tilted by the awful experience, as rushing will only make it worse. learning them is a pain and a slog, as one mistake typically means you have to do the whole thing over. your build plays no role in overcoming these obstacles. There's generally one way that they're designed to be completed, so there's no rewarding decision-making to be had and no reason to ever do it again. because the controls aren't built for platforming, it's no surprise that the games also can't do anything past "fall from one precarious spot to another". There's nothing interesting mechanically going on with these sections. shit has always sucked in every single souls game. I can take everything that a lot of people find unenjoyable and have it be turned up in difficulty for the dlc ![]()
